I’m a qualified French and Spanish teacher with over 10 years of experience in language education, helping learners of different ages and abilities build their skills and confidence.

My love of languages led me to study French and Spanish at university, before living and working in France as a British Council Language Assistant. I later trained as a secondary languages teacher and gained Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.

​

Since then, I’ve taught French and Spanish in schools, online, and through private tuition — from younger learners discovering a language for the first time to GCSE students and adults learning for travel, conversation, or simply for enjoyment.

I founded Languages Without Borders because I believe learning a language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. It’s about building confidence, discovering other cultures and connecting with people.

​

My lessons are friendly, supportive and personalised to each learner. I adapt the content, pace and approach around individual goals, interests and learning preferences, whether that’s preparing for GCSE exams, learning Spanish for a holiday or simply becoming more confident speaking another language.

​

When I’m not teaching, I love cooking, practising yoga, spending time with my family and, of course, travelling whenever I get the chance!
